A Manchester woman said today that she has decided to press charges after a scuffle Sunday at a presidential campaign event for Republican candidate Newt Gingrich inside a Mexican restaurant in Manchester, N.H. A well-backed Democrat candidate who ran for a position on the board of a top beltway-area school system has been found guilty of assault for ramming a pro-lifer with her car during this year’s national March for Life on January 24, LifeSiteNews has learned. WASHINGTON — Shirley Miles, the former head of the Department of Defense Education Activity, has been fired following an Inspector General’s office investigation that found she had abused her authority.
