Recently, a good friend of mine gifted a book to me called Slave. The book is written by John MacArthur. Though it ultimately contains a Calvinist flavor which is a sorely faulty doctrine, the information and viewpoint the book has to offer on the chosen slavery of Christians is exceptional. I highly recommend the book. However, the purpose of this article is not to provide a book review. The objective is to demonstrate how the corruption of slavery has abounded in the world and how it is currently crippling nations. Examined in this article will be the Christian, slavery in...

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii -- A ceremony held aboard the Battleship Missouri Memorial remembers the historic day 66 years ago when Japan formally surrendered to the allied nations, ending World War II. In the shadow of the Mighty Mo's guns, the patriotic ceremony spoke of war and peace. It was on this day 66 years earlier that Gen. Douglas MacArthur and representatives from 10 nations assembled aboard the USS Missouri to accept Imperial Japan's formal, unconditional surrender, ending World War II. Art Albert witnessed the surrender as a young sailor aboard the Missouri. "Well, at 18 years old, all I could...

Quotes from the General:"No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation""In war there is no substitute for victory""It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it""Old Soldiers Never Die, they just fade away"Following the surrender of Japan in WWII, the U.S./Allied occupation forces led by General MacArthur, understood a link between "Shintoism" and the aggressive Japanese militarism responsible for the war in the Pacific.Accordingly, the new Japanese democratic Consitution, largely written by MacArthur's own staff, outlawed and forbid the previous "state-supported" Shintoism. On Sept. 11th 2001 the United States suffered another horrible unprovoked devestating attack. To date, our own...

About two years ago U.S. military authorities in Afghanistan bowed the knee in appeasement, confiscated Bibles from a soldier, and had them burned. An action that no doubt would have infuriated the late General Douglas MacArthur. The confiscation of the Bibles and their subsequent "burning" was the U.S. military's response to a report by Al-jazeera in regards to a U.S. soldier's Bibles in the native Afghan language. This was made all the more repugnant in light of the U.S. military's top General Petreaus warning against the "burning" of the Koran in a protest by an independent fringe church in Florida. The Bibles were in the native Afghan...
