Last week, The Blaze brought you exclusive footage of renowned Union organizer Steven Lerner asking college students to be arrested for leftist causes. This week, The Blaze brings you video of Lerner at the same Georgetown event, retelling his labor version of the story of Exodus. Exodus, meaning going out in Hebrew, tells how the children of Israel leave slavery in Egypt through the strength of God. They were being led by Gods messenger, the prophet Moses. Lerner began his retelling of the Israelite Exodus by calling it the first great strike in history: So, anybody here celebrate Passover recently?...

A few years ago, while visiting the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, I had a very disturbing conversation with a member of the Islamic Wakf who was escorting me to make sure that I didnt pray on the holy mountain. I asked him if he could tell me when the Al Aqsa mosque was built. He looked at me with a straight face and responded that it was always there. I hadnt expected that, and of course was surprised and asked him again. I thought that maybe he didnt understand my question and meant that the mountain was always there. So...

Soon I began to notice a difference of senses in texts of Bibles. Reading, only for the sake of acquaintance with a curiosity, has turned to the most fascinating detective research. The book "Exod", in (RST), (CS), (OstRih), (Torah), and parts of other books, a line by a line - in parallel, has been read, and the differential table is made. (drafts: bible-exodus.narod.ru) Gradually I linked up other canonical and uncanonical Bibles to comparison...

How she succeeded in so many different endeavors where her predecessors had failed. How she not only did what needed doing, but also went after the criminally complicit scoundrels in her state and fitted them all for jumpsuits. How she did all of that in a little over two years during which she also ran for vice president and...

WHY I'M DEPRESSED Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was introduced) Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land." Today, the government has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land to China. I was so depressed last night thinking about my retirement, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, etc....

On Moses' Intercessory Prayer "A Man Stretched Between Two Loves" VATICAN CITY, JUNE 1, 2011 (Zenit.org).- Here is a translation of the Italian-language catechesis Benedict XVI gave today during the general audience held in St. Peter's Square. The Pope continued with his new series of catecheses on prayer, reflecting today on prayer in sacred Scripture, in particular on the prayer of Moses. * * * Dear Brothers and Sisters, In reading the Old Testament, one figure stands out among others: that of Moses, the man of prayer. Moses, the great prophet and leader during the time of the Exodus, carried...
